I am a little over 2 months along which means the baby will come
- Are you hoping for a girl? (I am hoping for a healthy baby.)
- WHOA! You look like you are just about ready to POP! Are you overdue? (NO. I AM 6 MONTHS ALONG.)
- WHOA! Are you SURE you aren't having twins?? (I feel like breaking something.)
- Do you always carry so... out there? (Yes. Grr.)
- Are your babies enormous? (Not at all. Just me. Please run now.)
- Are you sure you should be __________?-fill in the blank (Are you sure you should be asking me that?)
Etc etc. I am coaching myself to be resilient but I fear that these kind of insensitive comments will be too much to handle this time. People. How hard is it to keep those kind of questions INSIDE? If you must ask, ask someone else. I know many who would disagree but I would prefer rudeness behind my back than to my face. Ignorance is bliss.
And every pregnant lady needs all the bliss she can get.

Congratulations! That is so awesome. I had no idea, by the way. I think you look amazing.
You always look beautiful!!! This is super exciting.
Worst comment ever: "Oh my gosh, that is the BIGGEST pregnant woman I have ever seen!" That one brought a tear to my eye.
Congrats! So excited for you. We probably won't be twinner pregnant ladies this time around. Darn it.
Congrats! I would have another but fear those same remarks! Another Girl? I dont know if I can do it!

Sam Mckee Buckner!
Congratulations! And BTW, you are darling pregnant! Long gone are the days of my first pregnancies, with the panel pants, tent tops, belts below the bust, and rick-rack (okay, I said rick-rack - I might have to tell you what that is). You'll look amazing as always, your cute little family will be blessed to become a little bigger!
Of course you know that I am over the moon excited for you guys. Congrats!!
Ok, good. Now that those questions are out of the way :) I, for some reason especially hate the "ready to pop" comments.
Couldn't be happier for you guys.
Always stunning. Congratulations!
Wow! Congratulations Stacey! That is so wonderful! Just know that pregnancy #5 equals mucho pampering for Mom. It's the rules. Trust me.
after last thanksgiving, when i was pregnant, a guy at home depot looked at me and said "whoa, looks like you ate the whole turkey!"
men should just stick a sock in it when it comes to pregnant lady comments, no matter how funny they think they are! =)
